Recognition of external exam results

Results which were not achieved at the KIT (e.g. at other Universities or abroad) can in pricible be recognized (e.g. recognition of single courses, recognition of laboratory works as a research paper, recognition of course combinations as supplementary subjects,...). Requirement is of course, that the results were stated (exam with grade), the necessary documents were handed in and the achievement meets the requirement of the KIT. |

extract from the examination regulations: Recognition of study periods, course achievements and exam results (1) Study periods, course achievements and exam results within the diploma curriculum "Civil Engineering" at a university or equal academy in the scope of the "Hochschulrahmengesetz" (Framework Act for Higher Education) will be recognized after application. A pre-degree examination will be accepted without verification of euivalency. The recognition of parts of the diploma examination can be denied, if more than half of the qualifying examinations or the diploma thesis are to be recognised. (3) Recognition of practice oriented activities for the internship on construction sites is regulated in attachment 1. (7) If course achievements and exam results are recognised, the grades are to be transfered - as long as range of grades are similar- Werden Studienleistungen und Prüfungsleistungen anerkannt, sind die Noten - and taken into the calculation of the final grade. The recognition is marked in the certificate. If grade systems are different the annotation "accredited" is made. . |
